Lapis Lazuli is one of the most sought after stones in use since man's history began. Its deep, celestial blue remains the symbol of royalty and honor, gods and power, spirit and vision. It is a universal symbol of wisdom and truth. Wow! No wonder I so drawn to lapis! Along with it being the color of the ocean.
The lapis in these earrings is a deep, intense blue. The gold filled wire used to rim the stones adds a luxurious contrast. It also picks up tiny gold flecks in the stones. The stones are set in fine silver bezel wire and backed with sterling silver. I also make the sterling silver ear wires.
The earrings are 5/8" wide by 1 inch long. They hang 1 3/8" from the ear.
